Outfall

Black Rock ocean outfall accommodates one wastewater treatment plant (Black Rock) and serves City of Geelong area. Approximately 50 ML of treated effluent per day is discharged through outfall pipeline offshore into Bass Strait. The ocean outfall is about 1.1km offshore and 16m below the ocean surface.
