Bolivar High Salinity
Outfall

St Kilda outfall accommodates two wastewater treatment plant (Bolivar WWTP and Bolivar High Salinity plant). Bolivar HS plant replaces Port Adelaide WWTP and serves the area of Lefevre Peninsula. Approximately 32 ML of treated effluent is discharged daily into the St Kilda outfall channel downstream of the outlet Weir No.1 which mixes with the Bolivar WWTP lagoon discharge and the combined flow is released into coastal waters north of Bolivar.
