Outfall

Bridgewater outfall accommodates one wastewater treatment plant (Bridgewater) and serves the area of Bridgewater, Green Point, Old Beach, Herdsmans Cove and Gagebrook. The plant discharges around 2.4 ML/day, of which approximately 80% is reused for agricultural irrigation. The remainder is discharged to the Derwent Estuary through an outfall pipe in close proximity to the plant.
