Cannonvale ocean outfall accommodates one wastewater treatment plant (Cannonvale), which serves the area of Cannonvale, Airlie and Jubilee Pocket. Approximately 6 ML of treated effluent is discharged daily during dry weather or 31 ML/day during wet weather into Pioneer Bay 500 m north of Scrubby Hill via submerged outfall pipe.
