Finger Point
Outfall

Finger Point ocean outfall accommodates one wastewater treatment plant (Finger Point WWTP) and serves the area of Mount Gambier through a 30 km length of pumping and gravity pipelines, and Port McDonnell. Approximately 6 ML/day of treated effluent is discharged to the sea via a short outfall pipe terminating at a rock shelf 100 metres beyond the high water mark.
