George Town estuarine outfall accommodates one wastewater treatment plant (George Town) and serves the George Town Municipal area including several industrial trade waste customers. Approximately 31 ML of treated effluent is discharged daily through an outfall outlet pipe to the Tamar River near Point Effingham.
