Lorne ocean outfall accommodates one wastewater treatment plant (Lorne) and serves the area of Lorne. Approximately 750 KL of treated effluent is discharged daily to Bass Strait through an ocean outfall outlet pipe adjacent to rock shelf next to Great Ocean Road.
