Margate outfall accommodates one wastewater treatment plant (Margate) and serves the area of Margate. Approximately 167 KL of treated effluent is discharged daily through an outfall pipe at North-West Bay. In the next two years the effluent from Margate wastewater treatment plant would be directed to the Blackmans Bay outfall.
