Outfall

Maroochy River outfall accommodates two wastewater treatment plants (Maroochydore and Nambour). The Maroochydore plant serves the areas of South Buderim, Chancellor Park and Sippy Downs. Approximately 34 ML of treated effluent is discharged daily via an outfall pipe in Maroochy River at approx. 5 km AMTD.
