North Head ocean outfall accommodates one wastewater treatment plant (North Head) and serves the area of Manly and surrounding suburbs taking in an area bound approximately by Chatswood, Macquarie Park, Parramatta, Lidcombe, and Sydney Olympic Park. The outfall discharges 307.9 ML per day into the Pacific Ocean located 3.7 kilometres from shoreline east of Blue Fish Point cliff, 65 m water depth, and 762 m diffuser zone.
