Port Arthur outfall accommodates one wastewater treatment plant (Port Arthur) and serves the area of Port Arthur Historic Site, Nubeena, and White Beach. Approximately 60 KL of treated effluent is discharged daily into the Carnarvon Bay through a new extended outfall (commissioned during 2021 - 2022) at approximately 10m depth at 70m offshore off the plant.
