Port Augusta East ocean outfall accommodates one wastewater treatment treatment plant (Port Augusta East) and serves the area of City of Port Augusta. Approximately 2.5 ML/day of treated wastewater is discharged and flows into a tidal creek, through an area of mangrove and samphire to Spencer Gulf, about 500m away.
