Outfall

Rosny outfall accommodates one wastewater treatment plant (Rosny) and serves the area of Rosny, Mornington, Warrane, Geilston Bay, Montagu Bay, Lindisfarne, Howrah, and Bellerive. Approximately 6 ML/day of treated effluent is reused (75%) for irrigation purposes, and discharged into the Derwent River (25%) through an outfall pipe located 600 m off the plant.
