Outfall

South Trees Inlet outfall accommodates one wastewater treatment plant (South Trees). This plant treats very small portion of wastewater, which mostly is being treated in Gladstone WWTP. Approximately 1.2 ML of treated effluent is discharged daily into the South Trees Inlet at 5.3 km AMTD via 580 m outfall pipe located east off the plant.
