Outfall

Ti-tree Bend outfall accommodates one wastewater treatment plant (Ti-tree Bend) and serves the central part of Launceston, Invermay, Trevallyn, West Launceston, and South Launceston. Ti-Tree Bend WWTP is the largest plant in Tasmania and has a significant flow component made up of combined drainage (sewage and stormwater). Approximately 25 ML/day of treated effluent is discharged to the Tamar River.
